These Dutch naturefriendshouses offer a program for international groups
Several houses have thoroughly been renovated in the last years. Volunteers at the houses will be pleased to show you what the area has got to offer. They will also inform you about places to buy food to prepare in our well-equipped kitchens. A restaurant is often a good alternative.
Kitchens in the friends of nature houses in The Netherlands are well equipped with pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Guests can cook for themselves on the stoves, they can cook for groups who rent (a part of) the house. In the case of special arrangements for the participants is cooked. The kitchen is always a pleasant place to be full of activity.
Prices in the naturefriendshouses vary from €17,40 to €29. Members of Nature Friends International-organizations (NFI) can get a reduction of twenty five percent and pay between €13,05 and €21,75. From the second night on you also pay less.
To give you an impression of our houses:
Banjaert (Wijk aan Zee), Zeehuis (Bergen aan Zee) and August Reitsmahuis (Hoek van Holland) are situated near the North Sea side, at walking distance from the beach. You can also cycle through the dunes or visit cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Dordrecht, The Hague and several beautiful smaller places in the area.
De Kleine Rug (Dordrecht) can only be reached by boat. Give the house a call and the boatsman will take you to the house. Great area for hiking, biking and canoeing.
Hondsrug, Allardsoog, the Hunehuis, Morgenrood, ABKhuis, Den Broam and Koos Vorrinkhuis are in the quiet and green between woods, open fields and charming villages. They al have their own regional characteristics.
Eikhold (Heerlen) In the south. You can visit Germany (Aachen), Belgium (Luik) and Maastricht (capital of the province). From this house you can also explore the beautiful Dutch ‘mountains ’by foot or mountain(bike).
